Plaza Hotel & Casino offers free pickleball lessons and free open play sessions for Southern Nevadans in September

LAS VEGAS (Sept. 9, 2024) – With the most dedicated pickleball courts of any Las Vegas resort, the Plaza Hotel & Casino is offering special deals this September for Southern Nevadan residents including free lessons, free open play sessions on Sundays and Mondays, and 50 percent off equipment rentals.

The Plaza’s 13 dedicated rooftop pickleball courts overlooking the Las Vegas valley are open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, typically with no wait time to play or need to share a court, some of the most common complaints of players of the fast-growing sport.

Locals enjoy a discount on pickleball court fees at the Plaza every day, but in September, people showing valid Nevada ID can also play for free during open play sessions every Sunday and Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. Locals can also save 50 percent on renting equipment. Players can park in the Plaza’s self-parking garage conveniently located across from the South Tower, where the pickleball courts are located, and parking will be validated.

The Plaza also offers free beginner pickleball clinics with certified instructors every Saturday morning at 8 a.m. The Plaza also hosts round robin tournaments every Friday evening at 7 p.m. and Saturday morning at 8 a.m. for $10 per player.
