Signs of HOPE Receives More Than 2,000 Donated Items from Monster Energy Cares

 

LAS VEGAS (May 28, 2024) –Signs of HOPE (Healing, Options, Prevention and Education), a nonprofit dedicated to offering hope, help and healing to those affected by sexual violence and exploitation, recently received more than 2,000 items donated by Monster Energy’s philanthropic arm, Monster Energy Cares. The items include hats, sweatshirts, sweatpants, polo shirts, coolers, tote bags, and more.

 

“We are incredibly appreciative of this very generous donation from Monster Energy Cares,” said Kim Small, CEO of Signs of HOPE. “We are in vital need of clothing and apparel, and this donation goes a long way in filling that need. Signs of HOPE is forever grateful to Monster Energy Cares and its support of our organization.”

 

According to Small, Signs of HOPE provides new clothing and accessories to many of its clients who may have had their own clothes collected as evidence or are deprived of clothing by their trafficker. The organization strives to maintain a constant supply of new clothes covering all sizes.

The need for services provided by Signs of HOPE is great in our community. In 2023 Signs of HOPE:

  • Provided more than 3,600 counseling sessions
  • Encountered more than 1,200 human trafficking victims in the field
  • Served more than 580 human trafficking survivors, including 107 juveniles
  • Staffed over 4,000 hotline calls
