Special edition of the Bagelmania Backroom comedy night on March 27 – the Schmear Campaign Release Party

LAS VEGAS (March 13, 2025) – With this month’s debut of Ester Steinberg’s comedy special on Apple TV and Amazon Prime, Las Vegas’ iconic Jewish delicatessen Siegel’s Bagelmania will hold a special edition of its popular comedy event, The Bagelmania Backroom on Thursday, March 27, entitled the Schmear Campaign Release Party.

The “cool mom” comedian, Steinberg will be the event’s headliner to celebrate her new comedy special, in which she pushes boundaries with a hilarious retelling of her childhood as the daughter of an unsuccessful politician as well as telling jokes about being a mom of two boys, tackling a mommy makeover, and her bold ideas for a sex tape. With sharp humor, she also delves into the challenges of raising kids in the digital age and trying to protect them from the chaos of the modern world.

Proudly blending her “half-bagel Jew, half-hummus Jew roots,” Steinberg has been hitting the stand-up circuit since she was 16, relentlessly honing her craft. Her TV credits include The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Adam Ruins Everything, Funny Girls, Discontinued, The Meredith Vieira Show, Up Early Tonight, and Gotham Comedy Live. In addition to performing, Steinberg is a seasoned producer and host. She currently runs the monthly Bagelmania Backroom Comedy show with her comedic husband Noah Gardenswartz, bringing top-tier comedy to Las Vegas’s legendary Jewish deli—a natural follow-up to her seven-year run producing The Kibitz Room Comedy Show at Canter’s Deli in Los Angeles, Calif.

Billed as where “you’ll laugh your bagels off,” Siegel’s Bagelmania offers a special Backroom Comedy menu of its signature delicatessen cuisine as well as a full bar so guests can enjoy great comedy, dinner, and drinks in a unique, relaxed setting.

In addition to Steinberg’s headlining act celebrating her new TV special, she and Gardenswartz will welcome renowned comics Jozalyn Sharp, Stoner Rob, Alex Ansel, and Lauren Rochelle to the Bagelmania Backroom stage on March 27.

The Bagelmania Backroom is open to attendees 18 and older. Doors open for drinks and dinner at 7 p.m. Show time is 8 p.m.
